It's College Go! Week. Indiana’s College GO! Campaign takes place in September every
year and is designed to deliver important college and career planning messages
to students in simple and fun ways that are aligned with Indiana’s education
standards. The festivities will take place all week while also promoting College Application Week, where many Indiana universities and colleges waive their application fee for students to apply to their dream institution for FREE.
Check out what CCS has planned for the week!

We are in our last week of the CCS Soap Sale! All orders are due by Friday, September 27, with money. For the uninitiated, CCS families sell high quality and highly concentrated laundry soap comparable to the best brands in 5 gallon pails (with pump) for $45. Laundry pods, dish soap, hand soap, and fabric softeners are also available, making these a great deal for the long term. Shoot an email to dobinger@ccspatriots.org if you need a form or have questions. Please note: you must be able to pick up the soap on Saturday, October 12, from 10am-2pm or Sunday, October 13, from 1pm-3pm.

Today our secondary students were given the opportunity to serve a local church. They worked hard and made us proud! #ServantLeadership #CCSPatriots #WeArePatriots

Did you know that See You at the Pole is a global event? Every year, people worldwide show up to pray at their schools on the same day in September. Rain or shine, thousands and thousands of people gather around their flagpoles to pray for their schools, communities, and the world. CCS is proud to have students who choose to Pray together for See You at the Pole Day each year. #syatp #BiblicalTruth #WeAreCCS

This week, we have so much going on! Keep informed and join us when you can. #CCSPatriots #PatriotPride

What a blessing for the Voices of CCS to sing the National Anthem tonight at the Railcats game!
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported them.

The Voices of CCS are performing the National Anthem at this Friday's Gary Railcats game. There are a small number of tickets remaining. Call the school office to claim yours before they're gone!
You can also pick up your pre-ordered CD (or purchase one) at the school's main office of the recording the Voices of CCS made last spring.

One hundred and eighty students for one hundred and eighty days can cause more than a bit of wear and tear on a school building. If you can break away this Saturday morning from 8am-noon, we'll be having a work day at CCS to finish cleaning, repairing, and updating various rooms around the building.

The Voices of CCS were a tremendous blessing to many as they led the worship in the Griffith Community Good Friday Service. So thankful to those who came our during the spring break to minister in this way.

Because of increasing sickness among our teaching staff, CCS will be having an e-learning day tomorrow, February 23. Students, be sure to check in to your Google Classrooms to find your assignments. Younger students should have received a packet to complete.

Calumet Christian will be observing a two-hour delay tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/23) due to the forecast of freezing rain overnight. Students should arrive at school by 9:45 am with classes starting at 10:00 am.

The radiator pipes have been repaired, the heat has been restored, and CCS is open again tomorrow. Due to the damage in the Kindergarten room, we will need those students to wait until Friday to return. Thanks for your patience.

Calumet Christian will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, 1/17. Frozen pipes over the weekend led to significant flooding in two classrooms. Repairs cannot be completed until tomorrow afternoon.
