Pastor Daniel M. Obinger comes to us from Bible League International, where he served as the Executive Director of U.S. Ministry, overseeing the ministry of providing Bibles, Scripture Materials & training to local churches throughout the United States. Dan brings experience from several previous roles including teacher, pastor, process administrator & computer systems manager. Prior to joining Bible League International in November 2011, he served at Moody Bible Institute in educational roles, as senior pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Highland, IN, and as an associate pastor at Grandville Baptist Church in Grandville, MI. A graduate of Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA, Dan earned his Masters of Theological Studies from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI.
Dan and his wife, Brenda have three children who all attended Calumet Christian since preschool. Their son graduated in 2013 and their twin daughters will be graduated in 2015. Dan is also currently serving as the senior pastor of Griffith Baptist Church.
Dan says: "I knew at a young age that God wanted me to work in ministry. My passion has long been to have His Word presented - from the pulpit, in the classroom and around the globe. I look forward to working with the incredible staff we have at Calumet Christian to build a school that truly makes an impact in NW Indiana."

Mr. Lindahl is married to Ileana Lindahl and they have two children (Isaac & Angelina) and three grandchildren. In his free time, Mr. Lindahl enjoys coaching, playing and watching his son play soccer.

Linda says she has been teaching "a LONG time." She is married and has four children, all of whom have graduated from CCS. Linda enjoys gardening in her spare time.

Rick has been teaching over forty years. He has been married to his wife, Jean for 46 years and has 3 beautiful girls. In his free time, he enjoys watching Fox News and painting McDonalds'!

Bernie has been teaching at CCS for eight years. She is married and has three children. Bernie enjoys shopping & crocheting.

Myrtle has taught for over 30 years. During that time period, she has taught K5, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades as well as holding the position of Principal one year. Mrs. Ruiz says: "teaching is my purpose and life and I love to teach reading." She has 1 son, 1 daughter and 3 grandchildren.

Sherry is married with two grown sons, 4 granddaughters, and one grandson. She enjoys reading, nature walks, and of course, spending time with her grandchildren!

Betty has been keeping the books straight since 1999. She is married to Jim and they have 3 daughters and 6 grandkids. Betty enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with the grandkids.

Brenda is married to Pastor Dan Obinger and has three children who are all graduates of CCS.
Jennifer is married to Jamie Constant and has three kids who attend CCS. Jennifer enjoys working at the school with all the kids. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, scrapbooking and cooking!
